BRIEF CHURCH OVERVIEW

Led by Pastor Edgar Banaga, Harvest International Christian Church opened its doors in 1992 in San Jose, California. Formerly called Filipino Christian Church, the church congregation quickly developed into a solid community. However, in 2005, the Lord directed Pastor Edgar Banaga to reach out to the whole Bay Area, and what was then Filipino Chirstian Church became Harvest International Christian Church (HICC).

Over the years, HICC's membership has evolved to reflect the diversity of the Bay Area. Located in East Side San Jose, HICC is nestled within both Latino and Asian communities. But its reach proves far and strong, as members come from an array of cities including Morgan Hill, Fremont, Mountain View, Hayward and even San Leandro.

HICC is a member of the International Pestecostal Holiness CHurch (IPHC), a denominationwith roots dating back to the late 1800s.
